It Is Too Difficult

It must be in our nature to always look for an easier way. Jesus made so clear to his disciples that the way would be difficult. Indeed, almost all of them were martyred. G.K. Chesterton said, "“The problem with Christianity is not that it has been tried and found wanting, but that it has been found difficult and left untried.” There is little comfort in realizing the difficulty of living for Christ....but there is great comfort in the words of Paul to the Corinthians "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
